Conversation Piece is a projection based installation.  The tragic love story of the traditional willow pattern plate has been animated and the story re-written.  This is then projected, fitting perfectly onto 2 white plates, creating the illusion of an animated surface pattern. The would-be lovers are able to read the love story to each other.

A copy of this installation is part of the collection at the Museum of Fine Art, Houston, Texas.
